Etre Jeune is heading to Hamilton Is for race week and then for a bit of family cruising. Owner Nick and family will continue the delivery north and then after race week, spend until early October enjoying the beauty of the Whitsundays.

Murray and I arrived in Sydney and were very thankful that Nick picked us up from the airport, took us to the local shops to provision and then to the boat for a briefing before we departed. A building westerly meant great sailing and through that first night the wind got to 30kts and with double reefed main and no jib, Etre was hooting along at 9kts. Next day, gradually the wind abated and at times down to zero. Cold nights with beautifully sunny days with whales expo singing themselves sometimes right next to us (see pic). An extremely well maintained and well fitted out yacht, Murray and I look forward to our sail south in October and thank you Murray, great to have you back on board!
