August 2017 ...

Another trip accross the "Bight" done in two parts as on the way to Albany, an oil leak in the Starbord motor meant a two week delay to our voyage. Was given outstanding service from Chris Hibbs owner of SLR Mechanical in Albany who will remain a great contact and friend. Also many thanks to Peter Kerr for his hospitality and assistance in arranging things for our visit and the local Albany cops for keeping an eye on the boat whilst it was tied up to the public wharf. A special thank you also to Harley also from SLR who slept onboard whilst I returned to the east coast prior to the repair being completed. The rest of the trip went very well with only very minor issues at the other end.
