After fairly rolly first 3 days to Esperence, the weather abated and we had a smooth crossing of the Bight. We had a few minor electrical issues on the way and unfortunately lost refrigeration on day 2 but survived on our dry rations. Start battery issues meant one bank replaced in Esperence, the other in Pt Lincoln. All in all Sharon and Tom where delighted to finally get their boat and Tom joined us in Eden for the final run home (see pic above heading toward the Swansea bridge). All up used just over 9000 ltrs of fuel so including my fee, they saved nearly 50% on the cost of shipping. Voyage was 2 weeks and a day.
Tim joined me on this voyage and as usual he was not just incredibly competent but a delight to spend a couple of weeks with, so a big thank you Tim.
