Pt Stephens to Mooloolaba Dec 2024...

Chris bought Subzero but unfortunately for him was way too busy leading up to Xmas to take time off to collect her from Pt Stephens so invited Special Delivery to come to his aid and get her home in time to enjoy over the holidays.

Murray and very much enjoyed the trip north picking a fairly benign window which meant relatively calm conditions but mostly not quite enough to sail. The motors did a great job and used minimal fuel for the 400nm journey.

During the debrief and general chatting Chris mentioned having partaken in the 50th Hobart some 30 years ago to which I replied 'so had I' he then asked what boat to which I replied 'BT Global Challenge' and he relied 'so was I' Amazing, after 30 years to bump into each other this way. Great memories and lots of stories.

Another happy new owner and very successful delivery for Murray and myself, Thanks Muzz and point of note is that Murray and I had our first delivery together 10 years ago today (14/12) and  have covered over 30,000 nm together in that time.
