An old school mate and newly retired Peter bought himself and wife Sue a present to enhance their new lifestyle.

Wilsons Promontory  was rather windy with gusts in the high 60's so we had to postpone our departure by 2 days. When we did leave we were very conservative with our sail plan but in 35 knots we were still making a steady 7 knots.

Once around Wilson's, we headed north to get out of the low and within an hour, the wind had abated to a very comfortable 15 knots. So we reached across the Bass and around the corner, refuelled in Eden then off again, arriving at Pittwater around midnight the following evening.

A lovely trip on a truely lovely yacht and a wonderful time spent with Pete
