Sydney to Adelaide September 2024...

Tom previously engaged Special Delivery to deliver his previous yacht 'Cygnet' from the Gold Coast to his home port of Adelaide six years ago. Time for an upgrade and call to us for the delivery. Having had a great time with Tom previously when he joined us from the Goldie to Sydney, this time he joined us from Sydney to Lakes Entrance.

Mayfair soon to be Cygnet II, is a lovely yacht, very well appointed and almost everything in perfect order with one exception -the autopilot ram split pin failed and dropped the ram from the quadrant. In checking that out, I also found the steering cable had slipped partially off the quadrant. Both fixed easily on onwards we went.

A mixture of different wind conditions but mostly cold and very much appreciated the fully enclosable cockpit.

We wish Tom and his family many happy days cruising and successes racing especially Wednesday afternoons out of Adelaide CYC.
