'Aqua-C' Traditional 30 Brisbane to Pittwater July 2017<\/h3>\n

Andy and I had a delightful 4 days delivering Aqua-C for her new owner Ian. The sea and weather were very kind to us and apart from a short stop in Shoal Bay whilst a front went through, we motored down the inside to the Gold Coast and then had a 20 minute fuel stop in Coffs. Only issue was a faulty starter solenoid but we managed to \"jump start\" it with the aid of my trusty lithium battery ( a great addition to my emergency kit). Nice to sail again and catch up with Andy who will join me again in a couple of weeks to bring a big power vessel from Perth to the east coast.<\/p>\n

The first photo below shows a very close encounter with a fully grown humpback. Such amazing creatures, it knew exactly where we were and just cruised by to welcome us.<\/p>\n
