So Murray and I cleaned up Evening Breeze and transferred our gear to Scarlett. A very enjoyable meal at La Tabella then early start 0500 to catch the favourable tide.<\/p>\n

A couple of issues, reasonably new Raymarine wheel pilot had gearbox failure and intermittent engine near failures due to partial blockage of the fuel line. All sorted and after just a short stop at Urungan to buy appropriate filters we arrived Brisbane after 4 days and 6 hours.<\/p>\n

Inside Fraser was prudent with massive storm cells and unbelievably, with dark clouds, a rapidly falling barometer lightening and thunder, we managed to escape without a drop of rain, managing to stay between two massive cells the whole way down,see the radar picture above. By the time we reached Wide Bay Bar, conditions had settled for a reasonably standard crossing ( just 2 breaking waves over the deck)!<\/p>\n
